Peace Be Still

TESTIMONY- We made plans to take friends on our boat to Lake Washington to watch the Blue Angels practice.
We planned months in advance to invite former classmates to watch the Blue Angels practice, MOST IMPORTANTLY to share Jesus.
Sea Fair in Washington typically takes place in August, when the weather is perfect 99% of the time.
The morning of our trip, we woke to driving rain, strong winds, and white caps on the Lake.
Our guests began calling to see if we had to cancel.
I said, "No, we are not canceling. The weather WILL change, the day WILL be perfect, and the sun WILL shine."
The boaters near our boat asked if we were canceling.
They were canceling because the forecast said the afternoon was supposed to be worse.
I grabbed my Shofar, took hold of Steves's hand, and headed to the bow of our boat.
I did as Jesus did, telling the wind and waves to cease and the rain to stop. With faith in God, I blew my weapon of Victory, expecting the weather to change.
Within an hour, the sun was out, the lake was calm, the wind stopped, and the clouds parted.
Everyone arrived with smiles, and the day was wonderful.
I was able to share many faith stories and pray with them all. They witnessed God's Hand shift the atmosphere, including what happened that morning. Each day is a glorious day in the Lord. It's always exciting when God places me before the impossible, and I do what He called me to do: stand and declare He reigns in Heaven and on earth. Jesus commanded the wind and waves; shouldn’t we?
